DDC prenatal DNA Test?

Considering having a DNA prenatal DNA test, been reading reviews for the past 5 days and I'm getting negative reviews about inaccurate results and I'm getting positive! Has anyone used this test and it was correct? What is there success rate? I am only able to test one man.

I'm unsure of both honestly. I can't handle the stress that I am carrying around. If I knew that they were as accurate as a post natal DNA test then I would pay the money and not feel like I am taking a chance. I pray my chances of conceiving are just as great after the procedure.

Hun I tested with ddc and my son looks very much like the results I was give. (Excluded the pullout) I personally spoke with 3 other women who also tested with ddc and got confirmed post birth tests with other companies that confirmed accurate Ddc results..... I contemplated terminating also but I tell you now.... I was a fool for ever even considering it.... my son is the best thing that ever happened in my life..... even if the results wouldn't have been what I hoped for I know at the end of the day things would have been okay because now I have this little perfect little being that calls me mommy and it's the most rewarding thing in the world.... goodluck girl
If you don’t mind me asking, what did you end up deciding? Did you end up testing? I’m in the same boat and am so emotionally distraught and skeptical I’m contemplating the unthinkable.
Hi, Anonymous, generally speaking, when people write here they are in the throes of their dilemma, but when they are done with the dilemma they rarely write back or even read the community. This might not be true on other MedHelp communities, but unfortunately when a community is as anxiety-ridden as this one, people really only are thinking of their own problem. Once it has an answer one way or the other, they don't look back.

Please also see the pm I sent to you in response to your pm; it has an answer to a question you asked another poster.

Really considering getting an abortion because I just don't know if I can 100% trust a prenatal DNA test through DDC especially beaches i can only have one man tested and and not the other.

If you are unsure of the DDC, why not test with Ravgen?

Hi, did you get a positive on a pregnancy test?  I can only find an "Am I pregnant?" post two days ago.  Yet you've been researching prenatal DNA testing for five days?

I ask because sometimes women write in on the DNA/Paternity forum not saying they are pregnant and need to know who the dad is, but saying they think they might be pregnant.  But then they have gone on with the thought process to if so, what it might take to figure out who is the dad, and tied themselves into knots for nothing since they don't know if they are pregnant yet or not.

Sometimes figuring out  who the dad is can be done without needing a DNA test.  Depending on when the woman had sex and what information she can get from an early ultrasound, it might be possible to figure things out from logic and the dates and information from the ulrasound.

Regarding the DDC, the two labs that often get reported positively on this forum are Ravgen and the DDC.
