HELP. Im not sure who the father is.

Okay so long story. Im 12 weeks pregnant due date of Jan 20th. Im not 100% when i had my last period but i know it was around the 15th or 16th of April. My cycles are regular and usually around 30 days. I had sex on May 2nd which looks like i was possibly ovulating around that time. But i also had sex on April 15th during my menstrual cycle. i know it is very rare to get pregnant on your period and the ovulation is around the time i had sex on May 2nd. but than this is where it gets tricky. I took a plan B pill not on the 2nd but the 4th about 45 hours later. I was 100% with the May 2nd guy. but now im confused as to why my plan B did not work. Unless i was ovulating right on may 2nd and my egg fertilized within the first 24 hrs before i took the pill. When i subtract 38 weeks from January 20th it comes out to either august 29th or 30th. so now im very confused. and if it was the guy from the 15th wouldnt that make my gestational age of 14 weeks instead of 12?

I would assume the sex on May 2 produced the baby.  Plan B says right in its materials that there is a 1 in 8 chance it won't work.  How did you get the due date of January 20?  Did you have an ultrasound?  If so, how early in the pregnancy was it?  If it was as late as your 12th week, you could certainly have gotten pregnant on May 2, since ultrasounds as late as that are said to be +/- up to 7 days for accuracy if used to try to determine the date of conception.

As I said before, the material that comes with Plan B does caution that 1 in 8 times, it doesn't work.

well im a little confused. it sounds like it should have stopped implantation than especially 45 hours after sex. my first ultrasound was actually at the first look place. i was about 3 weeks but 5 weeks with gestational age. they gave me due date of jan 23rd. than my actual OBGYN just this week gave me 12 weeks and due date of jan 20th. I guess i wasnt really worried at first i know most cases are within days of sexual partners and mine was about 15-17 day difference. but i guess the whole plan b thing kind of has me really confused.

Plan B does not prevent fertilization, it prevents implantation.  But if your first ultrasound that gave you a date was not until the 12th week, that would explain any iffiness in the dates, because there is a pretty wide margin for error by then.  It sounds like Mr. May 2 is the guy.

Jan 20th is the date i recieved from OBGYN from ultrasound. I found out early. about 3 weeks. i took a test, i also took a test that says the number of weeks and told me i was 3 weeks about 3 weeks after may 2nd. I also went in on May 28th to a first look place to confirm i was pregnant. they did a vaginal ultrasound. They gave me due date of jan 23rd. the baby measured 3cm or whatever which i also googled. and said it goes about 1 Cm per week also again one week later june 6th and it was measuring at 3.7. I know its rare to get pregnant on your period, but its also rare to get pregnant after plan B . but what im guessing is that if i was ovulating on may 2nd i could've gotten pregnant within the first 30 minutes. The egg could've fertilized within 24 hrs and i took the plan b pill about 45 hours later which drops the effectiveness to 75%. My last appt. on July 8th i went in measuring at 12 weeks exactly with a due date of Jan 20th. Im just  trying to not stress about it but its hard when its the only thing i think about 24/7 i would really like it to be may 2nd before i move in with him. and i would really like to try avoiding a 1500$ prenatal paternity test. I know that with april 15th it literally lasted a few seconds he did not *** in me and may 2nd we had sex about 3 times and once in the morning and he did every single time.
