who is the father? please help

hi- okay so i had my period june 13. lmp was july 13. i had sex with guy A almost everyday for a month(unprotected every time). but we stopped seeing each other and a few days later i had sex with guy B on the night of august 13th or early morning 14th (basically don’t remember the time? and don’t remember if he finished/pulled out and only had sex with him this one time) i expected my period on august 13. (i usually get it on the 13th of the month if not sometime during the first week of the month. i really don’t know how long my cycle is- also to mention, i never got a period during the month of august). i got a positive test august 29. my first ultrasound was on september 13 and i was 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant. edd april 29. who do you think is the father? i honestly believe guy A but just kind of questioning if it’s a possibility for guy B? please no judgment. i’m currently not with either of them. please help thank you!

I would agree with your assessment that it's guy A, though it would obviously be clearer if the distance between the two guys was a few days more. But your ultrasound was early enough to be pretty precise, and it suggests conception around August 6, plus or minus maybe 1-2 days. Also, if the only time you had sex with the second guy was the day you expected your period to come, that's too late in your cycle to have been ovulating.

In your shoes, throughout the pregnancy I would assume guy A is the father, but would do a DNA test at the hospital when the baby is born both for peace of mind and for the baby's rights. Talk to your doctor, or call the family courts in your area of jurisdiction, to find out how to set up a test that is legally appropriate to prove paternity.  (In other words, don't use a drugstore test, they are not admissible as proof due to the possibility of fraud.) When the guy goes to the lab, go with him and do the test together. That way you will have witnessed that it was him doing the swab and handing it over to the technician. Everything should turn out the way you assume, and your child's legal rights will be protected.

Congratulations on your upcoming baby!

i talked to my doctor about it it’s possible to find out when i ovulated, and he said the same date, august 6. i was only with guy A during this week. i’m not sure but i think the last time we had sex was August 10 or 11? i had a recent ultrasound and baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead? i haven’t spoken to my doctor yet (only the tech). does that mean my baby is just bigger? sorry i don’t know if you would know but that also made me think it’s guy A. also thank you!!!!
also to mention, i had an ultrasound november 1 (i switched from midwife to obgyn) and my new doctor said i was 14 weeks and 6 days with edd of april 26. i’m not sure which ultrasound would be more accurate. but my new doctor has been going with original due date of april 29. i asked both my previous midwife and current doctor said august 6 as conception.
both said august 6* sorry i wasn’t sure if that was clear
The way a doctor estimates a conception date from an ultrasound is to look at the length of the embryo and other developmental markers.  The earlier the ultrasound the better for this, because all babies begin as one cell and grow at a known rate for a while, but after a few weeks some might grow faster or slower than average. This is why doctors use the earliest estimates of the due date (if they were from an ultrasound) rather than later ultrasounds for estimating due dates.

It sounds like guy A is the guy.
