I had sex with my ex sep 15 and I cont having sex with my bf I saw my period sep26 I had sex with my ex on 30 again now I’m pregnant I went for scan scan said I got pregnant 24 of sep who is the father of my baby out of the two guys
Are you sure the scan said you "got pregnant 24 of Sep"? Or, did it say you were a certain number of weeks gestational age, and you counted back to see how many weeks ago that was?
This matters, because if a scan says something like "7 weeks 3 days," it's NOT counting back to when the pregnancy began (it's not saying the baby was conceived that many weeks and days ago). For historical reasons, what the "weeks" count shows is how long it was since the first day of your last period. And that's what it sounds like you have going on, if your period began September 24.
A person conceives or "gets pregnant" a couple of weeks later than the first day of her prior period. Doctors use that gestational-age count that goes all the way back to the first day of a woman's last period to define the time frame of "pregnancy" even though they know she wasn't in fact pregnant for the first two weeks of that time period. So it sounds like what you're saying is, sex with your ex on the 15th, a period came the 26th, and your "weeks count" begins then, but your baby was probably conceived around October 8.
What due date did the doctor give you? If you got pregnant around the 8th of October, you'd expect the doc to tell you a due date of somewhere around July 1, and you'd be in your 24th week now.
If that's the case, then your boyfriend is definitely the dad.
OK. So, because of the way the pregnancy time period is counted by the medical profession, it gave you the idea that you just counted back that many weeks and that was when you got pregnant. But that's not how a GA count works. If your "GA" or gestational age was 5 weeks 0 days on November 1, that scan is telling you that your conception date was 3 weeks 0 days earlier, or October 11. You did not get pregnant in September.
In case you're interested to know why doctors use a pregnancy time length that includes the first two weeks after the period (before the woman is actually pregnant), it's because back before ultrasounds, the only way a doctor had to guess how far along a pregnancy was, was to count from the last period the woman had had. Ovulation doesn't provide any signals, but a period does. The medical profession, medical textbooks, ultrasounds, and all, use that kind of count even in modern times, since everything is calibrated to using a 40-week count for the length of pregnancy. (Even though you are only actually pregnant for 38 weeks, the front two weeks are included to move the count back in time to match when a woman's last period came.)
If I'm understanding what you wrote, you got your due date of July 4 from the early ultrasound (the one at 5 weeks), and that means you conceived from sex between Oct 6 and October 11. That rules out the guy on the 30th of September because he would have been too early, all of his sperm would be dead.
