FTD-Frontal Temporal Dementia

I have a friend who's wife was just diagnosed with FTD - Frontal Temporal Dementia.  She has an offshoot of that called Progressive Fluent Aphasia.  Though it may be unlikely - as this only affects about 4000 people n the US - I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts, suggestions, etc.
