Do I need crown per these xray pics?

Pics here:   http://www.evernote.com/pub/tonyplee/dental_xray

The dentist office say it is $860 per teeth.  My insurance will pay half.
Is this reasonable?

Thanks Dr Tsang,

I don't have any cavities as far I knew or as told.   The outer layer of my teeth is worn out.  That's why I was asked to put on the crown.

Thanks again.

There are significantly large cavities on the x-rays from what I can tell.  Its a little hard to see exactly due to the reflection in your photos. If you want, you can always seek a second opinion on the matter.  It may be possible to do an onlay/inlay which is a lab fabricated filling.  It may or may not be covered by your insurance though.
