Extraction

Hi I had two teeth removed and a temporary bridge inserted which needs to be replaced in 4-6 months. My gum has shrunk, creating a gap between the bridge and gum and it’s quite uncomfortable. It’s only been a week......is this normal and will the pain/discomfort disappear?

It’s normal, and the gap will increase as time goes by. No need to worry.
