Gold fillings

Is it possible that after 30 + years of having gold fillings in ones mouh that is could contribute to other health problem? I am a very health 70 year.  I excercise regularly and I only eat twice a day fish or chicken.  I have had a little stress when my granddaughter and her husband moved in with me. Having been use to living alone and then some twenty something moves in with little respect to my house rules.  My cholesteral has been up since they have been living with me.  I do not want to go on any type of Cholesterol medication because the will be moving out the end of the month and I feel my choleserol will be fine.  But could it also have something to do with the gold.  Should I have the gold removed from my mouth?

The last thing I would do is to remove gold from your mouth.  I would try exercising and reducing your stress level before doing anything to the gold fillings.  How is your blood pressure?  Did it go up with the cholesterol too?
