Natural Dentures - Anyone knows the cost of it?

I was informed by my dentist that for different reasons I'll have to have all of my teeth pulled. Traumatized, I did some research trying to find dentures that doesn't look so artificial as the ones that we see around for decades. Finally I found two labs in California with great pictures that promise a "natural, perfect smile" BUT, when I contacted them to know about the cost, they just refused to tell me, saying that, only the dentist could know about it... which I wonder why. My question is:  Does anyone knows about those "natural dentures" and the real cost? Why the lab instead to help us out want to give to any dentist the chance to overcharge us in something so dramatic and necessary?  Does anyone has any suggestion of how come make those labs attend me without have to pay extra to a dentist for it? Especially because my dentist don't even know about the existence of such thing, I'm the one "teaching" him a little about better quality and appearance.
Those labs should be more reasonable, especially because if I need maintenance in the future, why do I have to pay extra to a dentist to get it?  I'm loosing my teeth "exactly" because of the high prices charged by the dentists - I wish those labs could understand that much better and not making a "maffia" out if this.

Btw... one lab answered my email, the other one NOT EVEN bothered to answer me.

I was surfing the web to google up a lab, I found one in Canada.  Is that where you reside?  My understanding of the law is that only a dentist may prescribe a denture.  When we order things from a dental lab, we actually have to sign a prescription essentially to order it.

Sorry Doctor

But I've never heard such thing before. Actually there's some labs on line that do everything without the interference of the dentist, why they wouldn't ?

Labs aren't legally allowed to treat patients.  That can only be done by a dentist.  Its a legal issue as far as I understand it.
