Sinus problems after wisdom teeth extraction

It's been about 9 days since I've had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. In these past couple days I've developed some very strange symptoms.  On only the left side of my face, I have a lot of sinus pain. Whenever I bend over or drink water, this putrid smelling, thin liquid out of my nose. When I lean back, in runs down the back of my throat. I went to see him today and says the everything looks great and is closing up and I probably just have a sinus infection Not sure if he noticed this, but I just noticed on my top, 7th tooth to the left side there's a cut, that looks normal but can be lifted up to expose the bottom of the tooth. Directly above that there's also a circular sore, that seems infected, and could be leading to the sinuses. Anyone have any ideas?  Hoping it's just a sinus infection but not so sure...

Seeing an ENT is advised, if there is no oroantral communication, sinus problem tends to heal eventually.
