White tongue

I have noticed a month ago that my tongue looks really pale, and I feel most of the time like I'm thirsty, it feels sticky and I also noticed I don't taste food like before, especially spicy things. The shape of tongue change a bit, it has little lumps on the side. I'm not sure what it is, does anyone have a similar experience? I brush my teeth and tongue regularly.

You may have Thrush and this is treated by an antifungal gel called Daktarin specially made for oral use.

Anaemia can also cause problems with the tongue.

See your doctor to get a swab taken from the tongue to see if you do have thrush.  You doctor may also decided to take a blood test for anaemia, Vitamin B group and also for diabetes.

Make sure that you drink plenty of water, and yogurt drinks are good against thrush.

For the sores on the side of the tongue you can buy Bonjela.

I would suggest you see your doctor to rule out thrush, diabetes and any blood disorder.

Best wishes.
