Why do I have pain under my tongue??

Hi! I’m 17 and an upcoming senior! (I’m exited and feel like sharing) One of the many struggles we face is testing! So this morning I was taking the ACT and I started to get an aching pain under my tongue. The bottom of my mouth, not literally my tongue. It’s been happening all day and I’ve had It happen before. What is it?? This is the closest to an “oral” group I could find. Thanks!
