Well a chronic low grade infection that encourages the buildup of bacteria in the body will result in stress on the immune system and chronic inflammation. Its been related to heart disease and diabetes.
In terms of serious symptoms, what you describe as an abscess would be a serious symptom with pain, swelling, difficulty breathing/swallowing is a life threatening sign, swelling spreading to the eye area, difficulty opening your mouth, etc.
well im basically just looking for symptoms that are a warning. I dont have pain. i dont have fever , I dont have an abscess my gums dont bleed i have no swelling its just basically decaying teeth. I just fear they are causing damage without me knowing . So again just some serious symptoms not to ignore.
There can be a large amount of symptoms that can indicate problems with your teeth. There could be pain, swelling, fever, bad taste or smell, pus drainage, bleeding, etc. An abscess can spread to various parts of the body, from the head region down to the neck to the chest cavity. Its hard to really simplify your question because anything could potentially be a symptoms of your teeth's infection.
