reply fast

i have a root canal in the month of dec 2010 n had a crown in january 2010 .its been 4 weeks.but from last 2 weeks my tooth starts aching agian i went to the dentist he took my xray n found nothing in it.he said everything is perfect.he has suggested me a mouth wash which he said use it for two weeks n then let me know.my question is dat is it normal to have pain like this ??? n for how long do i still have to tolerate it?

You should go to an endodontist and have them evaluate the root canal.  They are experts in root canals, general dentists are not.  If an endo did the root canal, go to another for a second opinion.  If the root canal is redone make sure that they do not use sargenti paste (formaldehyde) on it....NEVER NEVER NEVER.

rootcanal is already done by a special dental sugeon . i dunt know wht is sargentic paste????
