should i see the dentist again ?

I had 7 teeth pulled a month ago... 2 of which were on the bottom back, on each side. both of then had to be cut into 1/4 pieces and the jaws filed... well I ended up getting a dry socket in both of them, went and had the past stuff and packing done twice. the left one started healing and the right one didn't. went back last Mon ( wk # 3) for the right side, had more paste. the right is now healing but for some reason behind the hole for my left one it has an abscess and something hard coming out the side. well I tried pulling on the hard thing and it will not move. it also hurts so bad, I don't know what I should do. Is it possible for me to have an abscess behind the site because on the jaw filing. I am afraid of looking like a hypercondriac  by going back again but then im afraid of not going and something happen.
