Hello, it sounds you have a serious case of anxiety and of course a person who is anxious can hardly be relaxed while there so many things complicate this problem for example a person once in a past received a phone call informing him about the major accident outside and his mother or someone else from his family got injured., so here felt extremely insecure with phone calls even he trembles with fear when Phone rings, so we see sometimes major accidents and at the same moment we get worried and if we soon control our mind, get relaxed then we successfully able to control anxious feelings concerned with that accident but if we get quite anxious and worried, failed to control the our feelings the same moment then we have maximum chances to have negative impact of this accident and then we get even more anxious as it may become a serious case when we begin to expect more such unexpected accidents could kill some one from our family.

I went to the website you refer to, shrinkyourself.com  the only thing I see on there is a book/program regarding weight loss--nothing on anxiety.  Am I missing something?

There are many different types of talk therapy or counseling that can help you with that, as well as books on the subject.  The important thing to understand is that these exaggerated feelings are connected to images in your mind at the time they are having, and if you can get yourself to observe and become curious about the 'truth value' of these images, that will get you started. I have a book coming out today in the bookstores and you can learn more about that at www.shrinkyourself.com... It's full of information about how people create their own images of powerlessness and anxiety, and how they can recover their power and choices.
