Am I alone?

Sometimes I have deep mood swings, usually whenever surrounded in a large, overly "cheerful" environment (such as a cafe) and I just don't know why! A friend said that I had been depressive and down lately and sent me some links to investigate. I've been having on and off symptoms (trouble sleeping, getting up, work, eating ect.) but I'm not sure if I'm just down or acutualy clinically depressed. Please help me! Tell me what I should do! I feel so alone, and  I just want someone to tell me what to do with myself. -_-

If you feel like you might have some mood issues you should seek out a psychologist (most people call them therapist. However, a psychologist is a doctor and much more knowledgeable) first. From there, he/she can tell you whether or not it would be a good idea to see a psychiatrist (doctor that prescribes medication) on top of it. Please do research on your psychologist though. They all have areas they specialize in and it should say what they specialize in on their information page. Hope this helps.
