Hello there Tired247, as a therapist I tend to see this quite often, just recently I treated a patient, who is a flight attendant, he gets thoughts in his head in reference to a family, that he feels, has not been a very good support system, I told him what you think is what you feel, and I had taken through Regression therapy and we disassociated the overwhelming thought, and associated a positive thought, this in turn, connects a better feeling. Now, next time you feel this way, and you continue to see pictures in your mind, that are negative, do two things for me.change your body mechanics, if your shoulders are slouched and your muscles are contracting, lift yourself, chest high, and then relax your breathing. Hi there. I'm really sorry you are going through this. So, what kind of treatment do you do? Do you have a doctor or therapist/psychologist you are working with? This would be an important thing to do if not. Let us know what you've done to work on the anxiety and depression symptoms.
