I need your support please

I have posted this question before.  I have been through 5-7 MAJOR depressive episodes in my young life (I'm 27).  When these episodes hit dot completely takes away my appetite.  I'm talking to the point that sometimes I can only eat a few crackers on a given day.  Is this normal?  Has anyone been through this as well?  I a don't want to die from not being able to eat!  I'm scared and it compounds my depression/anxiety

Lol well I went to the doctor today and he has referred me to a psychologist.  I need something bc I feel severely depressed.  I can't concentrate at work and I feel like I'm letting my wife and daughter down.  I have no energy and try to numb my mind all day by reading arrivals on how to get out of depression.  Why is this happening to me?  I don't want to be a failure, I don't want to lose my job, I don't want to lose my family!

Contact your doctor for an appointment to see if you need a medication change. I too have lacked an appetite during a depressive episode. During that time I could only eat one spoonful of soup a day. I lost 20 pounds in 21 days. Sure would like to lose 20 pounds now. :)

It is normal to have eating problems with depressive episodes. It is not "normal" nor is it necessary to be plagued with major depression.  Are you seeing a doctor about this problem?
