Lexapro

Hello...I'm currently taking 30mg lexapro a day and apparently there is no generic and I have to buy 1 bottle of 20 and one bottle of 10...is there a generic equivalent that I might be able to get a script for (yes, I'm going to call my doctor and I am in therapy)

i was also on Lexapro, but it became expensive so I am on Celexa which is a sister medication to Lexapro. Celexa has a generic called Citalopram. However, you might need to take a higher dose of Celexa if it is a good idea for you to switch. Talk to your doc to make sure.....Just my thoughts.

Celexa is essentially the same as Lexapro and is available as a generic.
