Low sex drive on Celexa
I started Celexa 2 weeks ago for anxiety/depression. Since then, my sex drive has decreased significantly. Nothing really turns me on and if I try to masturbate I can become erect but only 90% or so of what I'm used to. I can reach orgasm, but it takes a LOT of time and effort. I'm afraid that given the opportunity I'd be impervious to the charms of a woman.
This is terrible timing for me because I've just started seeing a girl with real potential and would like to be able to feel sexually attracted to her as well as capable of performing if the relationship progresses that far. I'm 21 years old.

If it persists ask your doctor to switch you to something else, perhaps Effexor or Wellbutrin. It's common to go through several different SSRI's before you find one that you can live with.
Celexa is a part of theSSRI family and one of it's most notorius sideffects is low sex drive.Other problems associated are dry mouth,insomnia and anxiety.
