I also have a traumatic situation with my father and I totally relate to what you said. I think you need to see someone... A psychologist or a close friend who you can confide in and speak to. You musn't be lonely in situations like these. That only increases the risk of self harm and more dagerous things and thoughts.

talk to a local doctor (GP) and ask for some advice. I've had anxiety and fearful thoughts due to a trauma and it's really awful. But it really is best to get some help.
There are some good medications for anxiety which can help in the short term.
Excessive worry and anxiety can cause people to build up irrational fears about what "might" happen in the future.So often these fears are never likely to come true but our racing thoughts take over.

Are you in therapy? When you know, or think you know, what caused you to feel bad, therapy is the best solution because you know what to work on.
