Serotonin Syndrome?

I am on Celexa which is being weined and Prozac was started yesterday. I cold turkey quit Lortab 60mg as f 6pm on Sunday after 8 months of use. Today when I get up too  quickly, I become very dizzy and almost pass out. Am I in seratonin syndrome?

I have heard that Rain, but I was one of the lucky ones. minimal jitters and diarrhea. So glad I did it now and didn't wait too long.

Thanks! Feeling better. My N.P.let me know I should not be wiening Celexa and take prozac while wiening. I am now just on Prozac and Buspar. Feeling ok. Just tired and jittery at times.  I can't wait until this Prozac kicks in.

Call your doctor and let him know what's happening, so you will know if this is a result of either medication.  Serotonin Syndrome causes fluctuations in blood pressure but that is the only symptom you have. Try getting up slower and see if this helps, it sounds like your blood pressure isn't rising fast enough upon standing causing the dizziness.  This happens to all of us once in awhile but when it's constant you need to get checked out.  Call your doctor he will know what needs to be done.  It's nothing serious, take care.

Number one golden rule--never go off any meds cold turkey--the withdrawls can be hell on earth.
