I didn't know where to post this question since testosterone replacement therapy wasn't an option on the board.  However this does relate to depression/anxiety.  Does any males here take this therapy?

This study shows that only third of depressed men who took the gel saw improvement. Maybe it just doesn't work for you?

Yeah, my concern is it's making my depression worse.  I was hoping someone who took it maybe seen an improvement.  I'm fighting some severe depression right now .  It's struggle to even eat as I'm not the least bit hungry

I took it for several months as my blood work showed low testosterone. There was no effect whatsoever on my fatigue, sex life or oven follow up test values.
I personally think the whole testosterone treatment is a scam. Nobody tested me for free and albumin bound testosterone, the biologically active forms. Total testosterone is useless. This is like measuring total cholesterol without the HDL and LDL fractions. The primary practice docs are totally clueless. I would recommend talking to a good endocrinologist only.
