how long are you on this ? are you starting and stopping it without letting it get to therapeutic dose.If you are compliant with med and take as prescribed ask g.p to review or go see a psychiatris(t as above maybe a paradoxical side effect). Also is there alot going on at home cause if increased stress ,turmoil the psychtrophics arnt magic wands .sorry you know what i mean
The same thing happened to me when I was on clonazepam. Instead of producing mitigating effects for my anxiety, it induced panic attacks. Basically, I was experiencing a paradoxical reaction to the drug. The best thing you can do for yourself is to notify your physician about what's going on.
Every time I start new meds. it always causes the condition to get really worse, later~ sometimes much later the benefits kick in. The bad side comes before the good one. That's just my experience. Hang on & hopefully you'll improve. Good Luck.
Have you talked to your dr about this? You may need to be on a different med.
Irritability is a common side effect with Klonopin.
How long have you taken it? Some side effects disappear in time.
