All I can do is be here to listen and let you know someone is there for you if you need them. My wife and I have been trying to have a baby for a couple years now, so even though you have a different situation than us, we can empathize. Feel free to send a message if you need someone to talk to. Also, don't give up on this site, it might take a while, but people will help if they can.

I went to the ER with lower right abdominal pain in September of '09.  Of course, my thought was that it was possibly appendicitis.  They said it was probable I had appendicitis but weren't sure enough to say surgery was absolutely necessary, but when they did my CT scan, they found out I had a 10x11 cm cyst (complete with bone) in my right ovary.  They did surgery on the spot, and thankfully, I still have my right ovary.  My doctor said I shouldn't have any problems with getting pregnant in the future.

Talk to your doctor about your options.  I think it's the best way to get rid of any fears and insecurities you may be feeling because of this revelation.  It's possible birth control can help shrink it or surgery may be needed.  You shouldn't have problems getting pregnant, and even if you lose an ovary, you still have your other one, so pregnancy isn't impossible.

Best of luck!
