i will do anne...thank you again for all your help
So glad you have seen doctor. Such a problem that the anti-depressants take so long to take effect. I do hope you begin to feel better soon.
Also counselling can take a time. Do you think anything triggered your depression?
See how you go with that one. If you don't begin to feel better, or feelo worse, you may have to see doctor again, as some meds work for somne people and not others.
Keep me informed as to how you are, and also those little children of yours. I am a grandma of four, and have two teenage grandchildren, and two little ones.
Big hug.
Anne

SOUNDS LIKE CLINICAL DEPRESSION SEE YOUR DOCTOR AND REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT IN THIS ALONE WE ARE ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU TO VENT ANYWAY.
It is highly likely like you are clinically depressed. Probably the best starting point is to talk to your general doctor about it. He/she may prescribe you antidepressants and/or refer you to a specialist.
You have every symptom of depression! I would see a psychiatrist so the two of you can decide the best treatment for you. I've been where you are and take medication, unfortunately our loved ones often suffer with us. It's not fair to them, but it's not something you can help, you need help with this. It's like any other medical condition that requires treatment. Depression robs us of so much, it's good that you have realized that something is not right. You're missing out on life and your beautiful children, don't allow depression to rob you of any more! There is so much help, and you can live a happy, fulfilling life with the proper treatment. I wish you all the best and do take care.
