Sounds like your suffering from depression. Exercise and diet can help a bunch, Yoga, Zen, Tai Chi, all will help quite a bit. The stress of being 17 can easily cause depression. I know, it sucks big. Feels hopeless and nothing seems to matter. Anyway, stay away from antidepressants. If you manage your stress with exercise and diet, the depression will go away, if you manage it with antidepressants, it will go and come back depending on your ability to maintain the proper dose which will change as your body becomes used to the drug/drugs.

yea exercise helps, but it's been so cold and bad weather here lately...going to try and do it anyway rain or shine....hopefully will take wanting to cry spells away.
Start with a complete physical especially checking for thyroid, pituitary and PCOS. Also ask the doc if he can test for anything he can think of that is physical but causes mental effects
Especially check thyroid.
