getting very forgetfuil ,

im getting very forgetfuil at times i know everyone is forgetfuil at times but its not that kind of forgetfulness im talking about ,..i really cant remember things as if they never happent im just wondering if it could be my meds
im on lexapro if its not then i think im going senile at 51 years old ,..
so if someone!! anyone!!on mh has the same prob could you let me know ,,or even know of someone with this prob ,

hi Anne ,....i was put on it for depression but im getting so forgetful im 51 years old and i really thought i was going senile ,...some days im grand and other days i just cant remember like it never happent until im asked something by my husband ,..
anyway thanks for answering my post ,......

Hi, its Anne.  What is Lexapro for?  Is it for anxiety.  Could be the medication making you forgetful  See your doctor.  Drugs do have such varied side effects.  I took one anti-depressant that made me violent.  Flushed them down the toilet.  Another made my arms jerk in spasms.  Another made me so agitated I was climbing the walls.  You are not senile.  Of course you are not.  Lovely to see your smiling face in the photograph.
