I know it seems like there's absolutely nothing you can do, but trust me - things get better, but sometimes you have to start the change. It's good that your doctor knows, please talk to them or a friend if something is bothering you. Parents have a different way of showing affection than you probably need from them, so try sitting them down and telling them what you need to be happy, because good parents don't like to see their children suffer. Don't forget to listen to music or do whatever makes you happy, you're important in this world.
And trust me, as someone who has seasonal depression, it's very important to get out in the sun. It truly does affect your mind and how you think.
It'll get better! I promise.
Hello, what would help this situation that you can control? It seems like your parents have a different way of expressing how they care to you and your sister- most households it is definitely not equal!
It is difficult to not feel heard- most people when they treat others unequally in this way, like your parents are doing, they have no idea that they are doing it. They are likely not self-aware enough, but you seem to be quite aware of the situation.
Is there anything you do out of the house (activities, sports, seeing friends, music) that makes you feel loved. Is there anyone who recognizes you for your efforts, like your friends?
I thank you for your advice and u take it to heart but I have one question how do you tell if somebody has a good soul because when I give back to people even family something bad happens for instance I spent 300 dollars on my sister to see her happy and then she took something important to me an broke it when playing with it and she just for something else to play with like the thing that mattered to me was nothing what can I do?
I meant sponsor not spinster
thank you for the advice but I tried my parents and they defended my sister even though she is the one who did something bad but I Have my doctor and my friend Gina so thank you again but my parents don't help me at all
I would suggest you talk to your guidance counselor at school or a teen hotline for help. You will probably need to tell your parents you are depressed and see a therapist. Being a teen us tough but you will get through it with help. Please ask for and get the help you need. Best wishes.
God is not playing a joke on you. You are going through a hard time and stage in life and you need someone to talk to. You need to find someone like a parent, counselor, pastor or someone to help you through this and learn how top cope with it. Once you learn how, it will be easier moving forward.
