living only in my mind

As I have a husband and 6 grown children I am alone. I desperately need someone to talk to, but no one is there. My daughter hasn't spoken to me since Christmas and I have no idea why, I reach out to her with no answer only silence. I would love to have friends to visit have coffee with, no don't have that either just about to come to the end of my rope just don't know what to do get's so lonely sometimes, it makes me feel like Im the only one in this vast thing we call the big wide world.

Yes I do live in a beautiful part of England.  Right on the south coast near the sea.  I only have a tiny little house, and no car, but life not too bad because I go out as much as I can to ease my loneliness.

My arthritis so bad at the moment, but hey, I keep going.  My feet burn a lot too.  Back particularly painful.

I will send you a privatemessage

oh my I'm in the US but I've always wanted to visit England, I think it must be a beautiful place, I'm glad you have found someone to spend some time with that's nice, and you are in that beautiful place.

I have arthritis also in my knees and hips, I just got through having shots in my right knee the doctor is trying to keep me from having knee replacement as long as possible, and I have that neurorophpy in my feet,( I misspelled that word I hope you can figure it out tho and forgive me for that) but, my feet  just sting and burn if I stand on them long or wall to long it's a trip getting old I will be 62 April 25th.
Well I will let you go now and you take care and I hope you have a good week with little pain and much injoyment.

Hello I suffer from extreme loneliness too.  I am a senior citizen who has had depression for 30 years and arthritis which is giving me pain and movement problems.  I do get out as much as I can to alleviate my loneliness.

It is an awful thing to be alone.  I have no car but go on bus just to get out, and I go to cinema by myself.  I have joined a local senior citizens club.  Your library would have details of clubs that may interest you.  Also you can do voluntary work. Unfortunately my anxiety ruined my last voluntary job in a school.  But I have done voluntary work quite a bit.  Can you see yourself doing this?

Through the senior citizen club I met another single lady and we often go on coach and bus trips.

You are definitely not the only person who feels lonely.  There are many of us.  This is a nice place to meet people who understand how you are feeling, and we all have depression too.  Perhaps if you join an evening class, or a friendly group near you,  you will find a friend to have coffee with.  We have to get out, as staying at home alone makes us worse.

Do you get out?  Keep writing to me and at least we will have each other to "talk" to.  Are you in the UK?  I live in England.
