med help

I have had depression on and off for about 15 years.  It has been more on than off for the past 10 years.  I have been on prozac, paxil, lexapro, cymbalta, wellbutrin, and now effexor.  Nothing seems to help.  I just want to sleep.  I keep hoping that one day I just won't wake up.  Is there anything that will make me feel normal?

I really do not know.  I have been through counseling and through the years I have had various reasons.  Here lately though I have no reason.  Everything is perfect in my life.  I have a wonderful loving husband, two great healthy kids, a good job, and supportive family and friends.  I do have some female issues and I have wondered if it is not hormonal.  The happiest times in my life have been while I am pregnant or breastfeeding.  My OB/GYn seems to agree that this is the cause of my problems, but he seems to think the only answer is a hysterectomy.  I just think that is asking for more trouble.  I really felt good on the cymbalta but I had trouble breathing.  The doctor thought it was a panic attack which I have never had before and I have not had an episode of troubled breathing since being off of the cymbalta
