Thankyou for your comments, i really appreciate them, i cant thankyou enough, i will be going to see my doctor shortly, i am going to stop them, as the reactions to them has not stopped, so i think i will need to be changed, i also would like to comments about what my doc said, he did not even tell me how many i should take, i had to ask him, he said one or two a day, i was so confused, as i understand they are very strong medication, i came out of my doctors surgery and i told my partner, he was gob smacked, he thinks i should be changing my doctor, i think so to. I went home and took one a night, but still i have been having this reaction to them, and this is still after 3 weeks, although  i take loratadine for hayfever and these have stopped the itching. best wishes to you all and thanks, sheryl

Are you seeing a psychiatrist or regular doc?  It doesn't sound like a psychiatrist; I can't imagine one every saying take one or two of that particular med.

You need to call your doctor right away, it sounds like a bad reaction to the medication.

Hiya Sheryl, my doc tried me on this several months ago and i found 50mg extremely strong, the first tablet made me as high as a kite.  I told my doc and he said to half the tablet and to take it in the morning with breakfast.  To be honest it sounds as if your having an allergic reation to this drug.... trouble breathing and intense icthing are two of the classic signs of allergy. I would not take the next dose of your med and get in contact with the doc and inform him of the severity of your symptoms.  To be honest your doctor sounds a bit slap dash by saying take one or two at night.... they anit smarties for goodness sake, they are strong anti-depressants which need to be taken with care and close supervision.  He should of given you a clear indication of the amount you should take..... if you need to talk to someone before you can reach the doc maybe call the local hospital and ask to speak to one of the doc's there and see what they say.   And i think to be honest they will tell you to stop taking this med.
