Auricular Skin Tag

"My 7 mo. old granddaughter has a pre-auricular skin tag outside of her right ear canal. I am a retired RN and am skilled with essential oils. I have removed quite a few skin tags of my own easily & painlessly using frankincense essential oil. The pediatrician my daughter has for her children suggested that my granddaughter be seen by a plastic surgeon for the removal of this lesion as they can have roots that could involve the inner workings of her ear. I understand the importance of erring on the side of caution with this issue. I was wondering, though, if my daughter could first try using diluted frankincense essential oil [I use it full strength], & applying it to the skin tag. If it doesn't do anything, or if it does but it comes back, she would take her daughter to the plastic surgeon for treatment.

This shouldn't do any harm, as it would be more of an external cosmetic use of a marvelous essential oil. Would it be okay to try this first, then she'd bring her daughter back for a recheck [either way].
