BROWN STOP ON FACE..

I had some electrolosyis done and the woman burned my skin it's been 3 months and my skin now had a brown spot where she burned me.. Do you know of any kind of cream I could use to lighten or fix this .. I have been very depressed with this situation.

Thank you so much .. I have been to the skin doctor and they gave me a Tri- Luma Cream ?? They cream has done nothing for me!! I am very depressed becasue the hair still grows and the scars are there on the side of check and upper lip.. I have been using a cream with Vit. A  E and D in it? It seem to help a little.. Some one said something like I need to be looked at under a blue light? I am going to see again the skin doctor is theere something I should ask for? I am of spanish olive base skin appear to scar easy... I have invested over 500.00 trying to cover these mark and not much luck.. I will do anything even plastic surgery if I have too.. Please help me thank you soooo much..

Hi.

This sounds like a scar. Over the counter creams may provide some temporary relief but may not be effective. The improvement desired with the creams may also require a longer time to show.

This sounds like a cosmetic problem. At this point, you may ask your physician if laser therapy or microdermabrasion may be indicated. If the scar appears to be deep ,then this may require more than just creams.

If this does not sound like a deep scar, you may note some scabbing on the area as the skin heals.The scab may fall off in due time. In this case, the scar may not be too deep.
