Fingertips on one hand peeling painfully

For about 9 months now, the skin on my right thumb, right index finger and right middle finger have been itchy and peeling off, revealing very "thin" very tender skin that would tear open and bleed. I've used creams recommended by a pharmacist and prescribed by a 2 different doctors. I work in a pub, mainly between the kitchen and bar. I handle money, dirty glasses, fruit and cleaning solution. No-one else has it. I am right handed.

Any help and Advice would be appreciated or if this exact question has been answered elsewhere if you could please post the link.

Thank you.

You should see a dermatologist. There is something commonly called “bartenders dermatitis” caused by a skin reaction to cut-up lemons and limes. But anything could cause a similar reaction.
I first had it when I was making 3 gallons of sorbet with fresh limes, without wearing gloves. I basically marinated my hands. A dermatologist finally gave me an Rx cream that shut it down(it is powerful and should be used ONLY to shut down a flareup, then immediately discontinued.)
But now I always wear disposable vinyl gloves in the kitchen and I’m very careful about the soaps I use. So far so good. But see a dermatologist. I suffered from this for two years before seeking help. I kept looking for OTC solutions but there weren’t any.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Peeling skin on hands  can have  many causes such as excessive perspiration and inadequate evaporation,  skin infections, extremely dry skin,  or from certain medications. With persistence of your symptoms, it would be best to have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management and to rule out other conditions mentioned.  A complete physical examination and several tests may be done.

Take care and regards.
