Cannot find an explanation

Hello,

I have a very strange case that I can't seem to find any information on. I have had for many months now been dealing with itchy skin that involves raised bumps. Majority of the time, the raised bumps do not have any puss in them- though a few times I have been able to pop one and have puss come out. Other times it appear to be more like just skin.

The bumps occur all over my body, including some periods of time where one area will be excessively itchy without me changing anything I've been doing (including the palms of my hands at one point in time). I also at first had seriously dry skin, which I thought was causing the problem at first. Since then, I have fixed my dry skin and am still seeing bumps and itching.

I have been able to calm the itching at times by taking a knockoff Benadryl drug, but other times the drug appears to have no affect. I've looked up every disease there is, and have not been able to find one that matches to what I have. Is it possible I have some type of fungus that has spread to other areas of my body?

I do plan to see a doctor soon, but I am hoping to find something that can alleviate the itching before I am able to see one. I have included a photo to see if that helps any. Thank you.

From the symptoms and picture,it sounds like dyshidrotic eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).

Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.

If still the symptoms do not improve then pls get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.

While this looks very similar to what I have, the symptoms are not just located on my hands. Dyshidrotic Eczema appears to be mostly on the hands and feet, while mine covers both my hands, feet, arms, legs, pubic area, torso, buttox, and back (none on the face or neck).

I also tried not ingesting medication for a day, and appeared to itch almost as much as I would if I had ingested it. Taking the pills could be doing nothing, and be more associated with a psychological thing than anything else.
