Cold Sore or Impetigo

Hello everyone,

So I'm currently suffering from a sore on the bottom of my lip that has a spread to a tiny little sore on the top of my life. This is my history.

About 2 weeks ago I tested positive for the bacteria Strep A. I experienced all of the symptoms, fever, chills, headache, sore throat, etc. About two days after I was diagnosed, I ripped the bottom portion of lip off with my teeth, bleeding and all. I tend to peel my lips quite often. Two days after this occurrence, my lip was tender but I brushed it off as I thought it was heeling. Then one night before bed, I noticed a small bump appearing on the inside of my lip. By the next day, I woke up to the bottom of my lip being swollen, I went to the doctor and they told me it was a canker sore because at this time the bump was completely inside my lip (around the line where you would naturally tear your lips with your teeth). As the day progressed, the bump started to grow, swell and contain a yellow center. Eventually, this bump caused a small bump, directly on top of it! Possibly bit the top of my lip as well. The next day, the bottom bump flattened out and looked like an ulcer. As of now the bottom still looks like a while ulcer while the top look like a red bump, both seem to obtain this goo like yellow crust in the morning covering the edge of the sores, which I wipe off. These sores are painless by the way, it only hurts when you put a lot of force on the sores. Now, I have visited multiple doctors and have received mixed reviews. All of them practically state that it looks like a cold sore, minus where its located (half inside the lip/half outside, where one would bite their lip) and the absence of pain. I am and have always been HSV 1 and 2 clean and actually was tested 4 days before the sore arrived and received a clean bill of health. Now why am I worried that its a cold sore? About four days before I received strep throat I started talking to a new guy. I went on three dates with him. Once a week and kissed heavily during those times. We both decided to get tested, again four days before the sore appeared. Surprisingly, or not really because of my luck, he was HSV 1 positive with a 3.27. I confronted him about it (didn't have the sore at the time) and he told me that he never had a cold sore in his life and that his parents (who are gynos) stated that he might just be a carrier of the antibodies but not actually be infected with HSV 1? Anyways, after I received the sore, I called him in which he told me has not had a cold sore ever or during the time we were together, which I agree because I would have seen it. So my questions

1) Does it sound more like Impetigo or an infection or possibly a cold sore?
2) Could I really have received my first cold sore 2 weeks after exposure? (I was told no by different doctors).
3) Is there a possibility that he tested false positive or he does not contain the virus?
4) I underwent a herpes select IGG and IGM test while the sore was out, if the IGM tests comes back negative, is this a good indicator that I have not acquired the virus?

Thank you for your help, I am a worry wart and this has affected me so much.

I'm currently waiting on results for a swab done to the sore, which will be available in 2 weeks but want to know what everyone thinks.
