Cordran Tape for Hypertrophic Scar

Hello. After a few weeks of using the tape. Taking a month off and then using it again for a few weeks, the scar certainly became mostly flat! However, I stopped using the tape after those time periods because my scar would become quite red, more than usual. And after not using the tap for a few days, the scar mostly had the color of my normal skin.

But I wanted to try to flatten it once more. It was fine a few days but then the scar was beat read after I could barely peel the tape off. It now seems to be shinier and have lines through the scar. It's been a few days and I'm putting on lotion. Should I stop the tap for good? Or should I wait and start the cycle again? Thank you!

there are a lot of factors that influence the way a scar heals. Cordran tape has a serious steroid in it and it's prescription only, You might want to consider contacting your Dermatologist or the medical profession who prescribed it below are some pointers - if posting outside links is permitted
