Could someone tell me what these bumps are?

I have bumps across my body which I believe to be from shaving, they appear to be small somewhat round and slightly raised soft bumps.  These bumps occur around my chest-stomach, and pubic area.  These bumps have persisted for months, and I believe shortly after said bumps appeared I was picking at them, under the assumption that they were simple acne.  One large bump in my pubic region I do recall picking at, there was quite a bit of bleeding, a lot of puss, and the wound healed after about a week or so, leaving behind the soft slightly raised bump.  The bumps to a degree look like little fatty raised spots on my skin.  I'm a virgin male in my early twenties, so I highly doubt that its any sort of STD, at least concerning the bumps in my pubic region. I've never had any sexual contact with anyone.  My assumption is that the bumps are the result of what may have been a then-healing razor bump, or they may possibly be ingrown hairs.  I have tried using an old bottle of salicylic acid which I was prescribed years ago for keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and back, although to no effect.  I suppose it is possible that the bumps are somehow related to the keratosis pilaris.

Any answers, speculation, or advice would be appreciated.
(Also, I apologize for posting this question twice, if someone could close my other question, it would be appreciated.)
