Dark horizontal lines on toenail
It started as a yellow ish toe nail and seemed to get a little thicker but stopped growing longer at all. Now with no trauma what so ever both toe nails of the second biggest toe on each foot, one has one perfectly straight purple line across is at the top of the nail and the other one has 3 of these lines? I was diagnosed with ITP last September I'm not sure if that's related at all? They said they couldn't find the cause, they assume it was just a virus or some sort which caused it. All that was done was blood tests. But my platelets as far as I am aware are back to normal levels now. The lines on my toe nails are raised more than the other nail it's completely straight just with purple lines. Please any advice is welcome!
