Hey. I'm 16, and still a virgin. I've got some worries here, so I'll get right to it.
A few days ago, I was masturbating with the aid of a shampoo, because I couldn't find anything better on hand. About 10 minutes after I started, the shaft of my penis started to burn. I ignored it, and kept on. So after it was all done, I noticed that it was hurting me pretty badly. I couldn't walk straight, and I couldn't sleep on my stomach, either.
The next day, I woke up, and noticed it still hurt. I ignored it, and went about my daily life.
Thus, it went on like this for about 4 days. Then, I had a flight to Atlanta. That day, I woke up without any pain, by the way.
I went to the restroom for a brief pee break, and so I started. But then I noticed, that my penis was sort of flaky. Also, the head looked like it was slightly being pulled downwards. I felt the bottom of the shaft, and I was very surprised. I don't know how to describe how it felt. It was sort of leathery, and prune-ish. The front of my scrotum felt much the same. Although the scrotum usually feels like that to an extent, this was something more.
I was pretty scared then, but I decided that, since I couldn't really do anything, I'd leave it alone until I got to my destination.
So, 2 days later, I arrived to my destination, where I am currently. Since today's plane ride, I'd noticed that part of my skin was peeling. I don't know what came over me, but I peeled it off a bit. It peeled pretty quickly, and effortlessly. No pain, either. The whole area was sort of purplish, by the way, but the area under the peeling part was pink-ish. It felt slightly raw, but otherwise, normal skin.
Now, I'm pretty sure I can't have gotten an STD, seeing as I'm still a virgin. So is it safe to assume that the shampoo caused some adverse reaction? Is this major, or can I just peel off this dead skin, and let it grow back?
As I'm only 16, it's sort of awkward for me to go up to my parents and tell them that I'm worried I might have a penile disease or something.
Sorry for the long post, but I'm worried here. I read on Yahoo of someone with something similar to this, and one of the repliers said something about necrosis, which I'm desperately hoping it isn't.
Thanks in advance.
