Dettol burn mark on face

I am 21 years old I got a dettol burn on my face 25 days ago ,i visited a doctor he gave me betnovate n and some pills, dettol burn was healed bt there is reddiah and brownish mark, after 20 days i got cjance to meet dermatologist,i visited dermatologist, she didint even listened to me i told her i got burn by using dettol she lighted torch and for one second shechecked my face burn and started writing medicines ,she prescribed me two medicines and one cream to apply on the spot.        , fusidic acid and betamethasone cream "cleary cream "  this is the name of the cream given by her she asked to apply it twice a day and said come again after 20 days.
The day i visited her in night applied the cream and on next morning the spot colour was 50% vanished ,i was like thank god again i applied it in afternoon and in evening there was no redness on spot ,there was just some mark bt redness was all gone bt after minutes may be 15 or 30 minutes there was redness on the spot,as prescribed by dotor i applied it at night and in morning i dont know what was that may be there is some change in colour bt the dark colour of the burn came again, its not that much dark but its dark and now when i am applying the cream in morning it shows it reduced some redness bt after few minutes it is again dark ,its 4th day now ,and i am totally confused ,,
I just wanted to ask if. 'Fusidic acid and betamethasone cream' helps in reducing the mark?
