I have had a couple of friends get Melanomas and they looked a lot like that by the time they turned into a melanoma. Did it start out smaller and lighter and becom larger and darker? If so, I would go to your local ER and have them look at it. Tell them that you have no insurance or way to repay them and worst case they'll let you pay $5 or $10 a month as able. I wouldn't mess around with that thing Hyper208. The thing is while they are growing, becoming angry looking and turning darker they often spread to organs within the body. One of my friends had what he thought was a mole on his shoulder/back which he thought was just inflamed. By the time someone else say it and told him to go get it looked at the cancer had spread and in less than 6 months he was gone. Thing is, there are so many environmental contamiinants and environmental poisons out there now Unfortunately, the Greed Factor makes it so no one tells us. We have to be smart and be our own Watchdogs because believe me, the rich bastards and politicians won't even warn you. Take care of yourself and go to Urgent Care of ER, bill be damned. Let some momma or daddy warbucks pay it. Seriously. Please let me know that you got it looked at and removed .. there are provisions for us po' folk and we have just as much right to thrive as someone with great insurance or a lot of moolay. Scared the poo out of me when I saw it .. please don't ignore it, you may not get a 2nd chance! Thank you and I hope it is just an angry mole and they remove it and you live happily ever after,. Not A Cutaneous horn. There is no projection presented with this it was in the skin, only a small white bump was visable from the surface of the skin , as you can see it was in the skin a little bit, and dont think I will be seeing a derm anytime soon. Too costly to see a doctor right now. But I am certain it is not a horn , hehe .
Hello,
One of the possibilities for this is a cutaneous horn. A cutaneous horn is a conical projection above the surface of the skin that resembles a miniature horn. Cutaneous horns usually are asymptomatic. But sometimes they can become inflamed and cause pain.
You should get it examined from a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
