Flesh colored bump that comes and goes.

Thank you for your advice in advance. 33 year old male. Last 2 years there was a small pink/flesh round bump on my shin. Size is slightly smaller than pencil eraser and symmetrical. It’s never grown any bigger. Has not itched or bled. After many months the bump flattens and out and becomes almost exactly the color of my skin and is barely noticeable except when it flattens it appears dry. This has happened several times and is cyclical. I’m trying to decide if it warrants going for it to be checked out during the pandemic.
