Found a cut on tip of penis

I was taking a shower and noticed I had a cut at the tip of my penis at the bottom of the uretha opening. It looks like it cut downward about a few milimeters and I am very concerned. Of course, I tend to look it up on the internet and got all these possibilities of genital warts, herpes and the like. Its not like a blister or has any puss or anything. Should I be very concerned? I am not sexually active either.

Thank you :) This time of year is so bad for me.. Summer is up and getting rashes and stuff from the heat. I think I scuffed it when i was sleeping.. in the nude :o. But it seems to be doing better. I really appreciate the input :D I have no blister or redness or itchiness. Looks like I pricked or cut it.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi.

If this appears to be a cut and not blister like or does not show any redness or excoriations or itchiness, then this may be a mild skin irritation or abrasion. I will not be very worried about this. If the cut is not too deep then this may resolve spontaneously. Just continue to observe the affected skin. What we are trying to avoid here is an infection.

Wash the area with a mild cleanser after urinating and keep the area clean always. Also, avoid manipulating or unnecessarily touching the area ,as this may only aggravate the condition.
