Growth on Face

About a year ago my daughter had a red dot about the size of a pen tip. It hurt and continued to grow. She has had an ultrasound of it and there seems to be calcium inside. We have seen a dermatologist and she didn't think it is concerning but will have it removed - we are waiting patiently for the appointment. The spot now has a dark interior that looks somewhat infected. Does anyone have any thoughts of what this could be?  It's the size of an eraser end now and still hurts to touch.

Hello, I've been looking for answers about this condition my whole life. I got my first lump when i was in 7th grade and am now 29 years old. It started with 1 lump on the top my right thigh, about a year later i got another right above it. over the next few years the number seemed to grow exponentially. Majority of them range in size from golf ball to a BB. It drives me crazy cause i have a few LARGE ones on the backs of my thighs and are really uncomfortable to sit on hard surfaces. I've seen a few doctors over the years and have received the same story "just fat, don't worry". i have 2 other brothers this is affecting as well. they don't seem to have as many as i do. our theory is they form from skin getting pinched. doesn't really make a lot of sense but is just a theory.

If anyone has a legit remedy to this i'd love to hear it!!!!!!!!!!!!
