I don't know if I have acanthosis nigricans or jock itch?

Hello,

I'm a 16 year old male with bilateral dark areas so-to-speak in the folds of my groin. What worries me is if it is Acanthosis Nigricans or a  fungal infection with hyperpigmentation due to the inflammation. It itchs, though not constantly, it is sweaty and feels like it is oozing, as the moisture returns shortly after wiping it away. It has an offensive, musky odour that is noticeable even after showering and with full dress. The edges of the dark spots are not completely uniform(sort of jagged) but they are clearly defined, with myself being able to see where it starts and stops. I am not able to tell if the texture of it is "Velvety" as one side it currently raw and inflammed, the other side feels no different than  the skin around it, but with slight sticking due to sweat in the area. I do not have a family history of cancer, the only people in my family to have cancer was my great grandfather and two uncles on my fathers mothers side(colon cancer), but neither my father (in his 50's) or my grandmother(in her 70's) have ever even had one polyp or colonic pre-cancerous leison.
