I have scriae on my thigh?

I am a slim 19 year old male and recently gained a bit of belly fat which shot my weight up by 8 pounds. I am now going to the gym and recently noticed  big stretch marks in my inner thigh area where my groin is. Its close to my testicle area but on my groin. I think its known as scriae. What does this mean?

Many people get these marks, also known as "stretch marks," when the skin is stretched - sometimes due to natural weight gain, and often due to pregnancy in women.  They are harmless.
