How can I cure my forehead rash/allergic reaction?

I've visited the doctor and the diagnosis was an allergy reaction.  The doctors recommendation was to take claritin and apply hydrocortisone topical cream to my forehead twice a day.  It's been roughly 10 days and I haven't seen any improvement.

I have uploaded a picture: https://i.imgur.com/4rlGg38.jpg

My day usually consists of the same thing, I eat a Lara bar and banana in the morning along with a sugar free energy drink.  Lunch usually consists of whats available minus fast food (don't eat garbage taco bell and McDonald's for example).  When I get home from work I typically work out for an hour, take a shower immediately afterwards, have a protein shake that consists of vegetable protein, plain yogurt, almond milk and fruit.  I'll snack on nuts, crackers and you know whatever is for dinner, and I also drink plenty of water.  Again, none of this has really changed for years.

I have been living in the same house for 4 years with the same dogs I've had for ~8 years.  Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is an older post, but wondering if you ever found an answer for your forehead rash? I’ve been experiencing what looks like the same thing as you! I’m guessing it’s a food allergy but I can’t figure out what it is. It comes and goes but is super itchy when it’s there.  It started maybe two years ago. I’ll go months without it and then it seems I can’t get rid of it for weeks. It’s very frustrating.  For awhile I was thinking it may be an allergy to oranges, but even after cutting them out completely I continued to have breakouts. Would love to know if you ever pinpointed what it was!

If you have been treating the rash and it's not clearing up or improving- it's important to give the doctor a call back and let them know.  Sometimes the first look leads them to believe it's one thing, when it could be something else- so if the treatment isn't working, they need to be aware of it and take another look.

Thank you for your response.  I will be going back to the doctors this Friday because nothing has improved for 11 days now.
However, I'm still reaching out to anyone who's had this before though as other input besides the doctors.
